Humorous Fiction: The diary of Adam and Eve by Mark Twain
Fantasy: Sabriel (Abhorsen Trilogy)by Garth Nix and The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
Kid's: Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo and the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan
You've probably read all of these, but they're what I've enjoyed most recently.
